About Me

A little bit about me :)

Hi! I'm Joshua Motoaki Lau, a software engineer and third-year electrical engineering student at Princeton University. I'm passionate about computer science, design, and education—topics I explore regularly on this blog.

At Princeton, I serve as co-president and chief software engineer for TigerApps, an organization that develops and maintains a suite of full-stack applications for the Princeton community. I also conduct research on computer networks with the NetSyn Lab, focusing on video streaming security, router buffer management algorithms, and formal methods for decentralized congestion control.

Beyond my engineering pursuits, I'm an ice dancer and musician, playing both taiko (Japanese drums) and piano. I also occasionally venture into food criticism.
